Pigreco

PIGRECO for Luce di Carrara was presented at the Triennale Design Museum during Milan Design Week 2014.

Pigreco is an object with a primitive, almost elementary shape, that comes from afar. It can be a stool, a simple support or just a sculptural element. The object is composed of a number of marble waste plates which differ in thicknesses. The effect is not that of a single block of stone as the juxtaposition of materials with different colours and sizes is clearly visible.

Materials: Calacatta Altissimo - Arabescato Altissimo - Arabescato Cervaiole - Statuario - Bianco Macchietta - Calacatta Altissimo - Green Borgogna - French Red

Dimensions: 42x42x20 cm

Year: 2014
